What is the company culture, who are we?
The current group of people, the founders and owners, are all well seasoned professionals within their fields of expertise. With dozens of games under their belts, you would expect a “been there done that” mentality. However, quite the opposite is true. Yes, the experience is there, but more importantly the drive to do better and the passion to make things great no matter how small the task. The ability to be more creative because of this knowledge is what Endrant is all about.
Who are the people that work at Endrant?
Most of the people are from the action/FPS genre(s) of the industry, however, RPG, RTS, Sports games on all platforms as well as most PC genres have been made by the core group at Endrant. In addition to actually making games, “rantees” are all gamers themselves. Tastes really do run the gamut, and whether its an obscure Japanese DS game or the mainstream “hot” title of the moment, chances are one of the folks at Endrant has played it.
Will I fit into Endrant?
That really depends. Because Endrant has members from all over the world, many different lifestyles and tastes, odds are you will at least not be pulling the “curve” too far in any one direction. The culture and lifestyle of Endrant does mean that fitting in does matter to some extent. You can be uber skilled, but if you don’t get along with anyone then you are of no use to us. That said, we are pretty laid back and as long as you are a reasonable person, it should not be an issue.
What kind of people do we look for?
We look for talented, driven people. Experience helps a great deal, but we also believe in the potential someone may have. We will look at the less experienced folk, and may even hire someone with fewer titles under their belt over a more seasoned applicant, if we see that spark. That spark is usually a passion, a drive that is what truly makes a person successful in this industry.
