CAREERS

Design

Level Designers are at the hub of Endrant’s game development process. Level Designers work directly in the game world, using the Programmers’ code while working alongside Artists integrating their models with the level geometry. We like our Level Designers to be involved from the initial design brief to ticking off the final bugs in Beta.

Design Roles

While we are not always actively seeking designers for all positions we have the flexibility to hire the rare individuals who stand out from the crowd. If you think you can impress us with your skills and passion look through the following positions and send in your application.

Level of Experience

The experience requirements for Code Team positions.

Junior Level Designer

A Junior Level Designer will have experience in community map work with some released playable maps but may not have a great deal of experience in commercial game development (if any). This means time and attention must to be given to the Junior Level Designers so they can learn as they go and have the resources available that are needed to succeed.

Level Designer

A solid Level Designer will be able to block out, refine and detail game flow. They will work efficiently on their own or as part of a team where they may also need to hand off work to other Designers. They are self-motivated to solve problems and are eager to strengthen any of their skills when needed.

Senior Level Designer

Senior roles are given to those individuals who are exceptionally skilled within all areas of Level Design. Essential members of the team, Senior Level Designers will help others learn and better themselves by finding new and better ways to produce top quality maps.

Lead Level Designer

Lead roles are given to those employees with proven industry experience and strong leadership skills. Leads are given ownership over areas of the project or development process where multiple Level Designers are involved and a lead is required. Leads are responsible for the scheduling and quality of the maps produced for their area.
